These sheets have the deckle-edge all round them, and are not cut down from larger sheets. All handmade papers vary slightly in feel, thickness, weight. There may be tiny imperfections in the paper, especially at the raw edges. The paper is tub-sized, and ideal for artist's use.

Newcomers to handmade papers need to be aware that many of the properties are different from everyday office paper. Paste or glue, for example, may not stick in quite the same way.Trying  your own techniques is the only way to test how appropriate it is for your needs.
