Lokta Mixed Petal A4 card

These are A4 sheets of card with cornflower and marigold petals ~ or a similar flowers ~ scattered lightly into the fibres of the paper during manufacture. This paper is manufactured in Nepal, where Daphne bushes flourish at high altitude. Their bark is stripped off and processed into light ~ but very tough ~ paper. The bushes recover over a few years ~ making for a very sustainable product.

These sheets are quite rough on the petalled side ~the other side is smoother. The petals are embedded quite deeply into the card, and are less visible than they are on the papers. Although called 'card' this material is very light in weight, and may be found to be too thin for normal card purposes. If in doubt try a sample sheet first of all.
