This item will take 3,4, or 5mm punches which are sold separately. It has a comfortable strong plastic mushroom head, and is otherwise made of steel and tool steel for the punches. We find that most materials require a fairly hefty blow to the punch to cut cleanly through. This metal version should outlast its plastic brother (available separately) by a century or two.
