Artist, mould-made and handmade papers y Khadi ~ Lokta ~ Two Rivers ~ and others

We are loosely defining "Artists' Papers" as those with a surface prepared for paints or pastels. Tub-sized, surface-sized, NOT, rough, and so on are typical examples.

Craftworkers know how to put the advantages of mould ~ or hand-made ~ papers to good use. If you wish to know more about the way the paper behaves, then the best, or only, way is to get hold of some and try it. This will enable you to see for yourself whether it suits. Properties and quality vary with ~ fibres ~ sizing ~ pressing. Artists' techniques also vary widely ~ too great a range for me to list without fear of missing out 'your' favourite.

Prices are invariably high when compared with office papers. Another of the considerable differences.
