Bockingford artists' watercolour paper ~ 300gsm ~ cut or full sheets
Bockingford watercolour paper ~ quarter, half, or full Imperial sheet
Made on a mould machine using materials that enable the paper to conform to archival standards. The natural woollen felt used when couching gives an attractive surface with excellent colour lifting ability, and is regarded as "forgiving" by watercolour artists. The sides have a slight difference in appearance.
Bockingford is made from pure wood-free pulp with chalk buffering and internal sizing and with no added optical brighteners or chemical additions. The mill works to traditional standards, and so the full sheet is of Imperial size (30x22", or 76x56cm). We can cut to metric size as you wish, without charge for reasonable orders, but pricing will have to allow for wastage as we trim down from the larger sheets.
It is suitable for watercolours ~ acrylics ~ gouache ~ pastels ~ pen and ink ~ charcoal ~ pencil. We are offering it in "thin halves" to enable bookbinders to make codex folios.
Carriage is not included in the pricing here, and needs careful consideration.
