Cotton bookbinding tape ~ unbleached ~ starched ~ 19mm wide ~ sold in 33m rolls
Bookbinding tape ~ starched cotton ~ 10mm ~ unbleached ~ priced per metre
This is a stiffened cotton version of the traditional tape for sewing the sections of a book when cords are not appropriate. Linen tapes are also available ~ and are a little more costly.
This listing is for 19mm wide tape. Narrower tapes are available in approximate increments of 3mm. A 25mm (one inch) wide roll is sometimes available, but is normally only required by the metre length ~ listed separately.
It is unbleached and 'natural' in colour ~ ivory. Light starching makes the tape easier to handle ~ especially when not used on a sewing frame. The linen tape is more floppy.
Pricing is per metre, and carriage is extra. Very short sample lengths will travel as a Letter ~ greater lengths will require the Large Letter rate because of the thickness of a bundle.
