This paper is specially hand-made at the Two Rivers mill in Somerset to emulate the type of paper that was used in the later part of the 18th century by artists such as David Cox (1783-1859). This is a wove paper. It is a "not" paper, tub-sized with gelatin. It has deckle edge all round. Cut sizes are available in a separate listing.

Pitt Mill uses fibres mixed with pure Exmoor water which also powers the mill's waterwheel. They trade under the name of Two Rivers Mill and have a newly opened facility at East Quay in Watchet.  All the manufacturing is carried out by hand. Finished sheets are hung and dried naturally under the rafters of the mill's loft or in similar racks at East Quay.
